ABOUT ZEROPAK
Proudly family owned. Proudly Kiwi. 25 years of preserving what matters.
Food preservation, built on real experience.
More than 25 years ago, ZeroPak began with a simple problem.
Craig couldn't find the quality vacuum sealing equipment he wanted for hunting, fishing and preserving his own food. Rather than settling for machines that didn't meet his standards, he started sourcing better ones himself.
That passion grew into ZeroPak.
Today, we're still proudly 100% New Zealand owned and family operated, helping Kiwi households, hunters, fishermen, gardeners and businesses preserve food with equipment we genuinely trust.
More than a business. A family story.
ZeroPak has always been a family business.
For more than two decades, Craig and Michelle travelled to shows and field days throughout New Zealand, introducing thousands of Kiwis to vacuum sealing, food preservation and, more recently, freeze drying.
Their daughters, Tamara and Danielle, grew up alongside the business. Some of our long time customers might even remember Danielle helping on the stand as a five year old!
Today, both sisters are part of the ZeroPak team, helping customers and continuing the next chapter of the family business.

Meet Craig
Craig started ZeroPak more than 25 years ago after struggling to find a vacuum sealer that could handle the way New Zealanders preserve food, especially fresh fish, shellfish and venison. Rather than compromise, he created the ZeroPak brand. Today he still tests products, provides technical support and services machines, all while finding any excuse to head fishing, hunting or out on the golf course.

Meet Michelle
Michelle keeps ZeroPak running day to day, overseeing operations, quality control and the website while helping customers both online and in person. With a background in banking, sales and photography, she's been a familiar face at shows around New Zealand for over 20 years. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, photography, fishing and spending time with family.

Meet Tamara
For many customers, Tamara is the first friendly voice they'll hear. She manages customer enquiries, dispatches orders, keeps the warehouse running smoothly and makes sure every order leaves on time. Having been part of the ZeroPak family for well over a decade, she knows the products inside and out. When she's not at work, you'll usually find her fishing with her family, baking or exploring somewhere new.

Meet Danielle
Danielle looks after ZeroPak's social media and marketing while also jumping in wherever she's needed. Currently helping cover Tamara's maternity leave, she's been busy packing orders, assisting customers and supporting the day-to-day running of the business. Having quite literally grown up around ZeroPak, it's a bit of a full circle moment to now be part of the family business.
Quality products. Honest advice. Support that lasts.
We believe buying quality equipment should be a long-term investment, not a short-term purchase.
That's why we continue to service and supply spare parts for some of the very first machines we imported more than 15 years ago. It's not unusual for us to hear from customers whose vacuum sealer is still going strong and simply needs a new seal or replacement part.
For us, supporting our customers doesn't end when the order leaves the warehouse. It's part of what ZeroPak has always been about.
Helping New Zealand preserve more.
Whether you're vacuum sealing your weekly groceries, making sausages, freeze drying food for long-term storage, processing game meat or experimenting with Sous Vide cooking, our goal has always been the same: To provide reliable equipment, practical advice and ongoing support that lasts well beyond your purchase. Because great customer service doesn't end when the order ships.
