Adjustable Vacuum Valve SICO S-Line Series

Description

Manual control valve for SICO S Line series vacuum sealers.

This valve replaces the filter cover in the SICO S Line series of vacuum sealers allowing the user to adjust the maximum vacuum pressure that the machine will achieve.

To adjust the vacuum pressure the machine is started in manual mode and the dial on the valve is turned until the pressure gauge shows the desired vacuum pressure.

When the valve is adjusted to a lower vacuum pressure the heat seal function must be activated manually.

The setting can be duplicated in the future by adjusting the machine to the same vacuum pressure.

By closing the valve completely the machine will revert to standard vacuum pressure.

NOTE; Because the vacuum chamber pressure is lower, the lid pressure on the seal bands is not as high as when the machine is running full vacuum. Therefore  it is recommended that a slightly higher heat setting is used when the machine is being run in this manner.
